problems

i have a Sony Vaio Pocket Music Player 40GB
Sony Corporation Part Number: VGF-AP1L

i installed the software but when i plug in to use it on PC it comes up with unknown device and i cant use it..... any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated

You need to tell us exactly what your setup is (windows version, etc.) and what you did to install the software. 🙂

what version of windows have you got?

win xp should recognize it as an external device without installing anything,but win 98 dont do that!

make sure that all the software are installed if you got win98 cause otherwise you might not be able to make your pc recognize the drive...
