Question about Sony Vaio V1

I was wondering if a intergrated graphics card for the V1 would work or not? Graphic cards like:

-Nvidia NForce series
-Ati Radeon 9100 IGP series

And also would it increase the quality of the graphics better?

(i really want to play on other games but need better graphics )

Thx

Go buy an X-Box or PS/2. It'd be cheaper!

Already got a PS2

I found other cards that say

PCI and AGP Bus
or
Comprehensive AGP and PCI bus support

Would that work ?

Its at:www.ati.com/products/embedded/mobilityradeon9000/index.html

(all i want is Transform, Lighting and Clipping to play games)

but in mine(w1) the pci slot is used up with the tv tuner card, so i have to settle for one or the other

is it easy to change them round

(i probably will give up my tv for better graphics if i can)

for the price and hassle you might aswell build yourself a gaming pc..

what games do you play? can they not be played with ps2? i have every mame rom(5033) on my w1 and every one ive played is fine, even tekken 2 and street fighter ex+2.. so what more could you want to play, i have warcraft 3 on my w1 and that plays fine too. so we have ps2, arcade games and strategy covered..

honest HH, i was feeling just like you 2 odd months ago and i asked all the same questions on this forum...

think of all the +'s your machine has..

why dont you download 3dmark2001se and see what score your machine comes in at...

Yes making your own PC is probably more advisable.

1. I want to play WoW and other mmorg or strategy games which require Transform, Lighting and Clipping
( or somthing like that ) (they are not on the PS2)

2. Im 13 years old so i cant really build a computer

3. Could you see wether the graphics card i said above would work?:smileyconfused: it said PCI !

4. Could i connect my v1 to another computer with better stuff in so i view all the things on my v1but using a more powerfull PC to run it ?

5. How much would it cost to build a average computer ??
