RAM - why only 448MB showing?

Just got a PCG-FR415B. It is listed as having 512MB of RAM, but when I call up the system information, it tells me that I have 448MB installed. Is this a fault, or just a quirk?

Is the other 64Mb being used as shared video memory?

Don't want to be a complete twonk, but how do I tell if it's being used for shared video memory? I've been running 2 monitors off the machine - has this anything to do with it? Everything works fine, just that I only bought the unit a week ago, and I'd like to be sure that all's as it should be.
