I am thinking of buying this but I cannot confirm if it has the sonoma 915 chipset.It has the 533 FSB and I believe the faster DDr memory.I guess my question is:
Is the S3-VP based on the new allegedly faster Sonoma Platform?
Also my research seems to indicate that this version has a max memory config of 1GB but the S380 as sold in US seems to have a max of 2GB.
Could someone please advise me what is the max memory config for the S3VP?
Finally I saw in the Sony shop that the X-black screen on the S3VP is a 2nd generation screen,Could someone please confirm whether this is so and if possible whether it makes any appreciable difference.I have a S1HP and have been very happy with it.
