I am working to recover data from a Sony Laptop (SVS15112C5E) that refuses to power up. I extracted the hard drive and was furious to find that it seems to have an entirely proprietary connector on it. There by turning a simply data copy into a disaster. What were you thinking Sony?
The drive is a Toshiba THNSNF256GRHS. I have tried a normal ZIF to USB adaptor:

but this drive is non-standard.
Shame on you Sony.
Please can you tell me if any one makes an adaptor for this drive.
