You need to call VAIO Link, you can't just get a copy, it won't work.
but can i reinstall windows xp not provided by sony?
And how do i find the drivers?
Regards
You could do that and then download everything to do with your notebook from www.vaio-link.com
Just hope it's complete
The only pb is that they don't have any drivers on vaio.link.
Windows XP do not recognize the ati video card and the modem.
I've used AIDA to see which kind of modem but it days that it"s an ac'97 modem and unable to find a driver.
The driver for ati mobility 9000 radeon video card cannot be onstalled
Can you help
regards benoit
All of your drivers are located in C:\Drivers, including AGP/PCI Video graphics, modem drivers etc... Look in here and install the drivers by using the SETUP.EXE file(s).
James he didn't install Windows from a Sony disk.
The only thing you can do is order a new set.

Not to my knowledge Rich.
Maybe benguer1 forgot to download the original drivers pack?
The GRV616V isn't listed - I would use the drivers from the GRV616S - there is an original driver package available for that model. Direct ftp link to the package if you want to try it.
