i was wondering, izzit just vaio doing the recovery partition in the laptop itself or other brand also doing the same?... Btw.. unless you never own or buy any laptop/pc before, you should know that it should come with some system/drivers/recovery cds right?.. why formatted it unless you are sure you be able to install everything back?

Cause I copyed all datas in the partition (I got them) but i can't use them as they seems to be useable only via the recovery program.
There is a autorun program but it doesn't exe.:(

Nah there are quite a few others Eugene, but usually it's associated with a low-budget laptop, like Meridons, but I've heard good things about Meridon lately, so maybe Aldi have hit a good noite there.

Sony needs to be careful, people won't put up with it for much longer.

I'm all for saving the world from pollution, but those DVDs are essential.
