Restore Disc with HDDR

Hi Gang

This may have been discussed before, bit I am unable to find it. I have made my restore discs when the laptop (VGN-NR38e) was ready to go, now I need to re-install. However as I deleted the HDDR partition using an XP disc, will the restore discs still work.

I no longer have any part of the Vaio Recovery Centre on the laptop, so will they work or are they just coasters for my mugs of coffee.

Hi,

The purpose of the Recovery Discs is to reinstall your system.

Insert the first system disc in the drive and restart the Vaio. It should boot from the disc and enter the Recovery Centre.
