S2XP not starting at all!

HELP!!!

My S2XP laptop does not start at all.
The green light on the charger turns on but the orange light on the laptop does not come on.
Pressing the start button does not turn on the laptop.
It seems completely dead.

Battery is fine as it works on similar vaios.

What could the possible problem be?

I would be very grateful for any feedback.

It definatly sounds like a Power Problem if you cant boot from AC or Battery.The culprit could be the Input socket or the power button itself.Its possable a cold solder has failed inside.Have you checked all the vents are clear from dust ect.Mainboard could have died.I would recommend you have it looked at.
