SB Series i5 2430m

Hi everyone, I recently ordered a SE series, with the i5 2430m processor. I was just wondering is this dual-core? Another thing, I have read reviews on people complaining that the fan can get pretty loud when playing games, or using graphically intensive programs, is this true? if so how bad is it?

Off topic - My username is something so random, I don't remember choosing it...infact, I would never have written that, but I signed in with my e-mail :S.. is it a randomly generated username?

Just typing it into Google tells us it is dual-core: -

I have a SB-Series with the i7 - 2620M.  The fan was a bit loud initially but after indexation of the hard drive and a BIOS Update it has settled down and is about the same as my other Vaios.  It is not silent under load but it is fine in normal situations.
