Hello,
after spending hours of trying to figure it out how to remove the mysterious drive... finally worked it out.
It applies to the VAIO FE41Z, but most likely to any other Vaio with only a Memorycard slot built in. The Solution and key is a wrong flag in the driver .inf -file respectively in the registry.

I wonder why Sony did not figure this out yet..
