SonicStage 2.3 not giving an MP3 option

I have installed all three updates for the VGF-AP1L but still can't find an option for MP3 - only ATRACs show up.
Anyone know what is going on?

It is rather simple MP3 are not converted to Atrac during transfert

The problem seems to be that when I go in to SonicStage 2.3 and click on Transfer > Transfer Mode > Standard Transfer Mode > Details I was told I should see an option for MP3 but there is no such option. I have installed all three updates and rebooted the PC etc.
Am I missing something?
