I have had problems with loading files into my Walkman NWZ-A15 and found I had to use the Sony Media Centre for PC software to use the device.
This software is having real trouble with the tagging on my existing database. The album titles, which are the titles of the CDs and are also the titles of the folders containing the tracks in the album work fine with all my control points and renderers. Unfortunately the album titles do not appear in the Album column when viewed as albums but only in the Title column when the folder is expanded to show all the tracks.
The problem is made much worse when I had a recording of an opera which comprises 2 or 3 cds with possibly 50+ tracks. The software appears to treat my data as a collection of independent tracks. Are there settings which can be adjusted so that I can work with folders and thus play all the tracks in the right order for one work?
