Sony Xiao-VGN-FZ38M GRAPHIC CARD PROBLEM

Hi,

Is it possible that Sony can fix my laptop graphics card problem free of charge as I have heard that they fix in UK for free.Some people think that I need to replace the whole mother board.

How is the case here in Sweden.

Hi Adam,

The FZ38M is one of the models that Sony acknowledge is affected by the Nvidia chip problem. If this is indeed the problem then it will be repaired free of charge within 4 years of purchase. This particular fault does require a motherboard replacement.

If your notebook is less than four years old then call Support on the out of warranty number for your region to arrange a repair.
