sound on PCV-RS406

Ive just bought a RS406 (UK) which I am pretty impressed with, that is except for the sound.

I know it is an integrated soundcard, manufactured by soundmax, however, the sound is awful, and in control panel, im not even able to adjust bass or treble.

What can I do to make my CD collection sound as good as it should?

Any help would be appreciated.

Get some nice powered speakers like Creative.

I bought some creative I-Trigue 2.1 speakers, and it has made all the difference.
