Stand-by mode problem

Hi, all!!I got a strange problem on FEZ41 after installing XP instead Vista. Everything looks OK except power management, when trying to switch to stand-by mode I get instead notebook reboot every time both by pre-defined time or just closing the lid all VAIO utilities were installed successfully, but nothing works!!! Any ideas???

Hi KoenigRider and welcome to the forum.

It may be worth checking your power options settings (Right click the power icon in the System Tray and select Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do. Make sure that none of these are set to “Shut Down”.

If the options above are not available then it would seem that there is a problem with the power management utility.
