Some days ago, I posted here to solve a problem with my new XL201 & ViiV 1.6 for Vista.
(http://club.vaio.sony.it/clubvaio/IT/it/forum/viewthread?thread=40647 ). As you can see Blecogo help me successfully.
In the meantime I opened a case to e-support, today I received an answer in which Sony says that ViiV sw is not supported by Sony Vaio.
But what kind of answer is this ???
I bought a system that HAS ViiV installed AND is Vista certified.
Intel says that the full package of ViiV for Vista is to be asked to the system manufacturer.
How can Sony reply that ViiV is not supported on Sony Vaio when is installed on it ????
This is not the behaviour that a customer expects from Sony !!!!!

I can see were you are coming from, Why supply the tools if your not going to support them. I possibly think that because ViiV is not Sony standard they don't wish to supply updates for it because it isn't there brand But then why supply it in the first place , In turn means you using the software that sony has provided i am very suprised Blencogo managed to find this link i have been searching for a few weeks now ( Thanks blencogo). At least you have it all running ok now. :smileygrin:
