Stuck/dead pixel policy 2010

I bought a Sony Vaio laptop today from Media Galaxy Cluj. It was not tried in the shop. At home I observed a pixel always showing as bright red, just below the maximized window titlebar in Windows. It's annoying when viewing pictures too, because it shows a red dot in the blue sky.

I've searched for "dead pixel policy" on Sony's website, and found nothing. I've googled for "sony dead pixel policy" and found nothing, except some old forum posts from 2004-2007.

Where can I find Sony's stuck/dead pixel policy ?

Will Sony replace (or fix) my, defect at purchase time, laptop ?

You will find Sony's Pixel Policy by going to the Support Page for your model.  Go here and sign into your model's support page by entering your model into the boxes on the right: -

http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/index.aspx?m=0&l=en_GB

Type PIXEL into the SEARCH box and the Faulty Pixels Policy will appear in the Troubleshooting list.

I found it now, thanks. Unfortunately it says that 5 faulty pixels are tolerated on a VPCEB3L1E/WI, so I'm stuck to watch my shiny red pixel for a few years. After not seeing any dead pixels on a desktop monitor yet, I've tought that Sony laptops aren't this bad in that matter.
