SVE14A1C5E - clean windows install - graphics driver BSOD

Hello,

I have recently purchased a sony vaio e series SVE14A1C5E.  I am reinstalling Windows 7 cleanly in order to not have the bloated pre-installed image.  Downloaded all the drivers from the website but when I install the AMD Graphics Driver and Intel(R) HD Graphics Driver (found here: http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/SVE14A1C5E/updates), it installs successfully, asks for a reboot and on reboot causes a blue screen of death (irql not less or equal) at the windows logo.  I have to boot from last known good config/safe mode in order to get into windows and then remove the driver to stop the issue.

Emailed sony, who ignored the problem in their responce.  can't say I am impressed with their customer service so far.  Has anybody else had this issue or simular?

Thanks

For anybody else who may have this issue or simular, I have managed to fix this myself.  The windows disc I used to install Windows 7 was previous to SP1 and so did not include this.  I thought it may be a long shot but installed SP1 and then installed the AMD Graphics Driver and Intel(R) HD Graphics Driver again, restarted and to my surprise windows booted successfully.  Nice of sony not to state this prerequisite on the download page and for their customer service to ignore this entirely when I emailed them.

Hope this helps others.

Thanks
