SVF1521Q1EW keyboard backlight and RAM

Hello

Recently I've bought Sony SVF1521Q1EW laptop with 4GB of RAM.

Is it possible to upgrade the memory? 

Also I would like to ask how to turn off the keyboard backlight.

Hi AFCMajke and welcome,

This model has 1 x 4GB RAM as standard and the specifications to not mention upgrading so possibly only has one slot capable of supporting a max of 4GB. This is only an assumption.

You should have controls for the backlit keyboard under Vaio Control Center > Keyboard and Mouse > Backlit Keyboard.

under Vaio Control Center > Keyboard and Mouse > there is no "Backlit Keyboard"

Do I need an update? I can't find anywhere to put the Backlight on.

Are you sure that your notebook has a backlit keyboard? What is the product number?
