You can go in display setting by finding control panel and turn off the touch screen activity. After that you will not be able to do any thing by touching it. Or you can increase the pressure sensitivity, So you need to put little bit more pressure to do any work which can not be done by any fly.

Nice steps. Short and precise. Just curious on why would anyone want to disable this. It's different from a touchpad where you can accidentally touch it. https://imagicon.info/cat/12-13/vmware_happy.gif

I am quite happy being old fashioned and not using touch-screen facility.  I have been finding that I accidentally touch the screen and that my cursor was being too sensitive (unexpectedly shooting across the screen).

I turn off the touch screen on my Sony when I expect to use my iPad  with TeamViewer App for remote access while away from home.  Found that the wrong hand gestures on the i-pad can cause huge problems on the computer being controlled if it has a touchscreen.  Example - huge icons obliterating the desktop.  No way to see start etc.
