Hello,
My problems started by switch ON preoblems, it was not possible to start PC anymore using the green ON button.
I treid to exchange it by another switch (the microswitch under the button) and cable, but it seems both are OK ?? Measurements by multimeter show switch to work and cable to be OK.
I tried to operate Vaio Care ver. 6.4.2 to obtain info on system performance, to see if there were any errors. VaioCARE started with message that 2 items need to be fixed, but it did not show my computer system data (model, serial, ...) and anytime I tried to fix errors or do any other operation, it CRASHED !
I installed Care ver. 7.0.1. and it starts, but the moment I try to run any test, I get message "Vaio Shell has stopped working ".
Can anybody offer some advice ? Should Shell be updated to higher version or Care downgraded to 6.4.2 ()which I cannot find in the support pages) ?
