System freezes

Hi,
Since purchasing my Vaio PCG-K215Z I have been experiencing periodic system freezes. This seems to happen mostly when I am using the touchpad. Everything just stops (although the display remains in tact) and I have to reboot to get going again.
Any ideas?

Mmh, I don't know.

I would reinstall the driver for the TouchPad.

Doesn't seem to happen with any particular programme - in fact it has happened with just the desktop running. Also it occurred again tonight whilst I was using the left button to scroll and not using the touchscreen!

i have the vaio pcg-k215 z and i have the same problem ive call sony and must let repair it no body say what it is.i very angry about the service from sony .i didnt buy a sony again
