Since purchase I was not able to burn CD's with any program. The CD-burner is not recognised. Reading of CD/DVD does however work.
NERO 5 shows this list of available burners (no optical drive):

The hardware profile looks OK:

Other burner programs (Sony SoniceStage among others) do not recognise the optical drive neither.
However, the recovery DVD (set of 2 discs) has been made. So the hardware must be OK. Is something wrong with the drivers?
Driver version 1.50 is upgraded to the todays available download version 1.51.
Vaio-Club/Link does not supply answers ( @ Matshita UJ-822Da, nor @ T2XP/S nor @ T2XP).
