The new S5 and Memory Upgrade

Hi there,
My new VGN-S5HP comes with 512MB ram and the following specs: DDR2 533 Mhz.
When looking for Vaio Accessories Memory options the only memory upgrade available is module VGP-MM512L which is DDR2 400 Mhz.
Could anyone please explain me how this is possible and if there is any problem about mixing those two types of memory ?

why the hell are you upgrading the memory you have the lastest machine,

By "upgrade," I meant that I had added more of the same into the empty memory slot to both increase the total memory & to enable dual channel mode.

This is necessary for my intended use of this machine, which will include RAM-hungry tasks such as video editing...

like every else said get the same ram and same bus speed to get best performacne out off the ram. but u can use different speed like 533Mhz and 400Mhz but tht wont be fast as having the same bus speed.

heat is important but i dont know why u had to ask tht question as he was not saying that he has problems with ram he was just advising on speed of ram and wht it would do.

but then again he might went to know what the heat differacne is if he uses differnet bus speed lol. ?? does any1 know
