touch pad A317 M

after the installation of Windows XP Pro on my VGN A317M, I can't use the scrolling option with the touchpad anymore, is there a certain driver to reinstall?

YES I HAVE IN THE FILE POINTING A FILE ALPS
POINTING DEVICE DRIVER AND AFTER ? apoint.EXE but when i doubleclic ......nothing

Click :

system configure > system > hardware > devices manager > Mäuse und andere Zeigergeräte:smileygrin: (mice and other point devices) >....

I think you find here a PS2 mouse. Doubleclick on this mouse and click driver. Then click "update" . Activate the point No, not now and agree.

Then click "install software from a list"(or so similar) and agree.
Now you must chose POINTING driver. (it's a inf file)
