Touch pad setting disappeared and replaced with mouse setting, help!

Hello,I am having a problem with my laptop and would like help please. The problem is, my touch pad buttons are not working and since then I have started to use a mouse, but only for 1 day and the setting for the tab for the touch key pad - left and right click button has gone and is only a 'mouse' setting. So I am unable to change the setting of the touch pad since its not on the menu of the tabs. It has been replaced with a mouse picture instead. I hope you can help me solve the issue as I would like to change my right touch pad click as my left click.

my sony vaio model is: VPCEC3C5E

Thank you

Hi chocomocha,

In order to rule out a software problem try reinstalling the Alps Touchpad driver.

http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/VPCEC3C5E/updates

You will find both 32Bit and 64Bit versions of the driver – make sure you install the correct one for your operating system.
