hi i`m new to this forum has anybody else had problems with touchpad coating i have only had my fe41z 4 months but its coming off mostly in the middle where i use it more

I have a Sony FE41S and have no problems with the touch pad.I do how ever clean the grit of each time I use my notebook using a soft brush. I wonder if it is a case of bad luck or maybe you have been using it with your finger nail rather than your finger tip. Either way it sounds like you will need to send it back to Sony to have it assessed and replaced, or start using a standard mouse.
