Hi Everybody !!
I have a vaio pcg grt915M and i can t watch movies on my tv.
my nvidia driver is 4.6.9.0
If i look in the properties, there's nothing about TV ?
if somebody have an idea ??
thanks for your help
Did you look under Advanced setting in the Display properties?
In Properties, go to Display, then Advanced, and then it should display the internal configurations for the video chipset.
Click on the Display tab, then you should see a TV panel.
I have been in Display Tab, but there's nothing about TV.
I think that a driver for having TV is required but i don t know where i can find it .
Thanks for your answers:smileyhappy:
Try vaio link for downloads of drivers, otherwise I can't think of anywhere else.
Do you have a TV out?
Yes i have one but this one is not standard.
It is a special tv out used only by sony.
I bought a cable for it but nothing happen ?
I think my driver doesn t have tv included
You mean a 3.5mm 3 pole socket?
So what do you see in the "Displays" tab? Just monitor and panel?
If you have only your LCD panel, then it should be the middle one, with the monitor greyed out and possibly the TV greyed out if your system is compatible.
Do you just see panel or what?
Regardless of whether your TV-out cable is connected or not, and assuming that your Nvidia is TV-out compatible, you should see the TV option present on the right.
Since you say you can't see anything related to TV, then your drivers must be defective or faulty.
Try and get a diagnosis of your video chip and find the drivers.
Is your VAIO operating with an integrated video card? Or is it dedicated?
yes you're right Kee-Lo
yes i just see monitor and panel !
there's nothing more !
I have an integrated card (nvidia geforce Fx 5600) with 64Mb DDR
As Kee-Lo said, my tv out is a 3.5mm 3 pole socket.
