TV composite A/V out under Linux?

Hi to all who I have not said hi to for much time.

Im here to ask for help if you please.
Ive been running both freespire and ubuntu for the past 10 months and still have not ironed out all the kinks. My main issue is using the composite video output to TV (pcg-k315m). This is the one real hurdle which prevents me from fully removing windows and simply running off either of the 2 distros. But i still have to boot into XP to watch media while i work, which interrupts anything happening in ubuntu.
:smileyhugs::smileyapplause:You would not believe the gratitude awaiting the person that can shed ANY light on this for me.:smileyapplause::smileyhugs:

The other issue is using the MS Pro slot too, and maybe the fn keys...

My avatar has nearly become current and topical.
