TV on my Sony Vaio now not working

For 9 months my TV capability has worked fine, now all of a sudden it says 'tuner not connected' when I click on Live TV or 'no content' when I click on External Input.

Any suggestions on how to get it back?

Do a system restore to a time before the problem occured.

As TonyBeard said. This happened to me too for while ago. Found out that Sony software doesn’t seem to like some of the programs we install.

In the beginning of the year (last year) we had problem with Photoshop CS. The cause was Sonic Stage Mastering Studio, once you uninstalled that the CS worked fine. (I think they released a “patch” for that later, but of cause Adobe and Sony blamed each other for the problem. We made lot of calls to Vaio-Link and Adobe).

The TV tuner on my V2s does not work, and I have done two complete system recoveries. I am sure that it as a software error, due to the number of people on here who have the problem, but SOny say it isn't.
