I have VGF-AP1L
I have followed steps 1-3 on the upgrade/download site, upgrading to Sonic Stage 3.3 but the new software does not recognise the player and I get the error message that I should delete all tracks on the ATRAC HD because of incompatibility. Although this problem has arisen before on the forum, the advice 'let the software do its own thing' won't work because I can't just delete the tracks or transfer them to the computer (because they came off my old computer) whilst I format the drive.
Is there anyway I can get this working without losing all my music and recordings? Alternatively, is there anyway to roll back to the previous firmware version and then I can reinstall Sonic Stage 2.1 (as I don't really need to play mp3 files)?
If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.
