Hi. I have come to the limit of capacity of my Vaio Pocket und would like to build in a lager hard drive.
The Idea would be to make a hard drive copy from the inside 40 GB HD to the other harddisk (I would use an 5400.3 with 160 GB cause of capacity and shock tolerance) and afterwords replace it.
The Questions are:
Would an Diskcopy of the hard Drive get all necassery Data from the old HD, to keep the thing working?
Is the Controller able to use the new HD, are there any capacity limitations? Are there other problems, like more energy consumption and so on?
What have I to do else?
