Hi LS1234 and welcome.

Have you tried looking at the specifications/manual of your model?

I cannot give you a link because you do not say which Vaio you have.

The specifications for your model are here: -

It looks like you have USB 2.0 ports - 3 normal and one combined USB/eSATA port.

Hi all, I also am wanting to upgrade my usb ports on my Sony vaio model number vpceb3f4e, I recently made the mistake of purchasing a 512gb thumbdrive from eBay, it resulted in my laptop hard drive registering over 100 gigs missing after trying to transfer files to it, so for now I bought a usb 3.0 ext hard drive which works with my vaio and I'm wondering how much it would cost to do this??
