Hi Spert51 and welcome.

Can you give us more information please?

What do you mean by 'struggling with screen display'?

Hi

Thanks 4 answering.

Example: go on FB game and get either a quarter or 2/3rds of the actual game screen and cannot play...first noticed it when my screensaver was stretched horizontally.Have tried messing around with display features but no joy:smileyconfused:

Hi Spert51,

Have you checked that your screen resolution is set to 1280 x 800?

To check this right click a blank area of the desktop and select ‘Personalise’ and then click ‘Display Settings’.

Hi Spert51,

In that case I can only suggest that you try a System Restore back to a date when the display was working normally.

Also, have you tried a different browser? However as you say that your screen saver is not as expected this is possibly irrelevant.

Hi Spert51,

I take it that you have tried a different browser?

As a last resort you could try a system recovery to factory settings using your recovery disks or the HDD recovery utility (tap F10 at boot when you see the Vaio logo). Be aware that you will lose all personal data and third party software, so backup your data and accept that you will need to reinstall third party software.
