I am having trouble getting my Sony NAV-U72T to comunicate with my computer. The computer is a Vaio VGN-C2Z/B running Vista Home Premium (SP1).
When I connect the GPS to do updates (e.g. Speed Camera subscription) it doesn't work.
The GPS came with a program suite that only functions with XP, and when contacting the Sony support they told me to download "Mobile Solutions Center" from Microsoft (my translation from swedish, don't know if this is the correct name in english, but it should be something similar). But it still doesn't work.
When I connect the GPS it says that it i installing unit drives, but then it just stops and I cannot find the GPS in the Mobile Solutions Center. On the GPS it show a "progress bar" that continues to run as long as the GPS is connected.
Anyone else who have had this problem and found a solution?
My temporary fix have been to run the GPS on another computer still running XP, but this compuer is no longer available to be as the person owning it has bought a new one running Vista.
Please help if you can
