VAIO AR51SU RAID 0 error

Hi,

Anyone know the right solution to this problem yet ?

I have SONY VAIO AR-51SU, this machine worked properly on Vista Ultimate 32 for about 7 months now.
Recently MS Update installed update on Intel drivers (think i saw something about new SATA drivers ?).
Since yesterday the following error message comes up:

A drive in a RAID 0 volume is failing. Try to backup data immediately.

Already installed Intel Matrix Storage console 7.8 and later back to 7.5 (had 7.0 on the system before), but this does NOT change anything.
In safe mode everyting works fine, all data is accessable.

Should be software issue but what to do to solve it ?

thank you !!

I bought my AR51SU on Nov 2007 and until yesterday everything was ok.
I got the same problem on RAID 0 at the Intel Matrix Storage Manager software. I also tried to update the Intel Matrix with no good results.
Then i opened my notebook and switched those hardisks at its slots. Once again the same mssge appeared - RAID 0 problems.

So i decided to use just one hardisk (backup and format).

Now i have my notebook with only 250 gb but without troubles.

Hi Folks,

Again having RAID 0 errors !! I ignored the message in the Intel Matrix Console and my system is running without problems although i am annoyed by it being very slow most of the time...
My VAIO Update reports a new SATA Intel driver 8.55 from 21/11/2008 available.. but i am kind of anxious to install...

what do you suggest ?

thanks,

Olivier
