My Vaio FS115Z is starting to run very hot after a short period of time. The warmer it gets the slower it runs also the sound starts to deteriorate. Do these have internal cooling fans and if so could the failure of it be causing this condition. This Vaio is only seven months old. Any help please.
C'est peut-être qu'il y a un programme qui consomme beaucoup d'énergie !
maybe u shouldn t use your vaio on your bed or on plastic surfaces.. protect your fan.. special laptop bases have been designed to avoid such problems
Hi RUFUS 1 and welcome to Club Vaio.
First check out your CPU temperature by downloading and running MobileMeter.
It could be that the cooling vents need a clean.
I have the A397xp... how hot shall that cpu running, I have runned it up to 80 celsius- accourding mobilmeter , normally Its 60- with peaks up to 70 Is that normal.
When It runned up to 80 I played a game and had it in bed.r
With normal work I have It on 63 avergae...Whats normal...
Go to adjust power properties and switch your CPU settings from performance to adaptive. Also do as Rich suggests and clean your vents with compressed air. My one and only post for the day this forum needs to be fixed or it is just not worth it.
Testy Testy one ..one only ....can't count to two...
Alrighty then it's back to lots of misinformation and drivel from yours truely
wake me up when its fixed.
You shoudln't leave it on your bed when working, it's sufficating your system
