Vaio FX501 Battery Charging problem

I am having problems resetting the battery memory on my notebook. Does anyone know how to do this? Everytime that it takes around 4 hours to fully recharge, once I try using it without the power attached it switches off within 15mins.

I think your battery has almost died. Have a look HERE for a replacement.

If your mains charger is working properly then the battery has developed a fault.
