VAIO LAUNCHER - LINKSTATION NAS COMPATIABILITY

Hi, Can anyone out there know if a Linkstation NAS connected to a wireless router can be accessed by the VAIO Laucher, so that the contents stored on the Linkstation are visible within the VAIO Media Zone .i.e. can you add a network mapping drive to the folder contents within VAIO Media for which it can access for the library? Hope this makes sense, please help. Thanks, gntzpope

It doesn't work, simply because VAIO Zone does not catalogue data from external disks, as the service scans nearly all the time. In short bad programming!

Many thanks for your reply. even thou it's disappointing that you cannot attach one of those Linkstations. Is there any other way, of attaching more storage space for use with Vaio Zone? Kind regards, gntzpope
