Recently my Vaio (VPCF11M1E) stopped to boot for no apparent reason. I keep it on the same desk always, and after a week's downtime it just didn't boot up again. It had worked perfectly until that moment.
The screen is just lighting up in a misty gray view. No sounds from the HD appears. After a while some scribblings are shown, very blurry.
Please look at the attached pic. Does anyone have any idea of what might be the problem? The laptop is 2+ years old and there is no warranty. I still would like to fix it though.

Have you tried doing a hard reset on this already? This is most probably a hardware issue.

Have you tried pressing f8 on startup to get into safe mode? there should be a couple boot options to try out.
try that and we'll keep troubleshooting.
