i have a sony vaio vgn-nw11s running vista. my issue is after a while the sound just stops device manager tells me the device is working properly i have updated the drivers and even uninstalled them and reinstalled, i read of a bios fix by upgrading the bios i have done this but it has made no difference. i have recently changed the hard drive in machine and reinstalled os using recovery disks i made when i got machine first
