Hi
Try going into safe mode (F8 before XP logo appears) and try to install a different display driver.
Tx for your tip, but i already did that and no can do doesen´t work....
Cant understand why???!!!!
If i go in to safe mode the machine work´s fine other way doesen´t...
By the way another input the only diference is that in japanese i have a monitor on the hardwear devices in my OS i don´t ...
Can you understand ???!!!
I don´t....
Hmm, sorry I don't really understand this either I don't know what you can do really, as Sony Europe won't support Japanese machines. Getting Sony Japan to look at it would be very costly too.
Tx any way...
Hello,
I have exactly the same problem with a PCV-LX2. I try to install XP from a standard CD and then the display goes blank when entering the XP session. There is no problem on VGA display mode. I suppose that the PC requires specific drivers for the display.
I don't have the Sony installation CD and can't find the driver. Do you have any idea on where I can look at it ?
My problem is that i have the original cd from Sony and i cant make it work....
