Vaio recovery center doesn't see my dvd's

Hi

I have a Sony Vaio FW11M for a couple of months now.
Because no recovery dvd's where included with my laptop I tried to make them myself.
However every time I try to use the recovery center it says there is no dvd in de drive.

So far I have tried to use 2 different sets of dvds.

One of them is

Arita 8x dvd-r
data 4.7 gb

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hi Mitchel and welcome.

Do you have any Virtual Disc software installed? Programs like Daemon Tools, Alcohol and other Virtual Disc software interferes with the Recovery Centre.

If you do, uninstall it and try to burn the recovery discs again.
