I have a Vaio sz1 that works perfectly wiht the wifi lan of a Roper router.
To expand the range of the router (i live in a two floors apartment) i bought a Netgear wgxb102 wall plugged wireless range extender.
The new wifi lan is recognized perfectly by the vaio but i can't access to any data (internet and shared folders).
No errors at all from Windows.
I don't receive any TCP packet : the little icon in the taskbar is always off.
I tested the Netgear extender with my PSP and everything works great.
It should be something in the configurartion fi the notebook.
