Hi,
I am trying to uninstall VAIO Update from my laptop (SVE14A1C5E) as I want to upgrade to windows 8 and the Vaio upgrade assistant requires that I do so.
Unfortunately when I try to uninstall, the uninstall wizard comes up, but then says - 'please insert disk 1 that contains the file layout.bin' in a seperate window entitled 'setup needs the next disk'. There is also a browse bar allowing you to browse to the file path, but I dont have a clue.
I could really use some help as at the moment I cannot upgrade to Windows 8 (Grrrrrr!)
