Hi - I am clicking on the vaio update icon (looks like a little text box with a lightening strike next to it) and all I get back is a message saying that,
"You are currently not connected to the Internet. Please connect and try again"
I am however connected to the internet. I am able to browse the web with internet explorer with no problems. Can anyone help?

could be the programme is being blocked by your firewall make sure its in the allowed list

Ok so things are working now. I created a share folder. This required me to enable a workgroup and coincidentally made changes to windows/norton firewall. I'm guessing a change to the firewall got things working from the above post.
