Hi Lee,
Try this: -
1. Go to Start -> Help and Support
2. In the Help and Support Centre, click on the 'Support' button in the top toolbar (next to History)
3. Under the 'Support' heading on the left, Click on "VAIO link" (six down from the top)
4. You should get the message that you are currently not connected to the internet. And that you should click HERE to set up a connection. Click on the HERE
Network wizard will start up. If you have a WIRELESS connection DO NOT pick 'view wireless networks in range' - Just click on NEXTand setup your network connection depending on your type of connnection.
When you are finshed VAIO UPDATE WILL WORK AGAIN, also the VAIO LINK option in help and support.
