Vaio Update

Why was the Click to DVD upgrade (which upgrades to version 2.4). released on 14/3/06 and then on the 15/3/06 Click to DVD 2.3.03 Upgrade (a lower version) released.

Very confusing, especially as the first update to appear, to version 2.4, is in the manual section of the Vaio Update section, while the later is in the Automatic section and has to remain unchecked since it can not be installed over the former.

Not sure, as I have Click to DVD 2.4.12.14100 Upgrade Program for Windows XP (14/3/06) available in Vaio update section and also in the Vaio-link Drivers and Updates site as well.
