VAIO VGN-FS315Z

Hi!! I have some questions, i hope anybody can help...

I'm an ubuntu user, and I installed it on my VAIO (before doing any recovery CD). When I wanted to burn (under windows) a recovery cd, an error message shouted that "the recovery partition was wrong" and i couldn't. I reinstalled everything, and the Dock is not recognized for windows. Where can I get the recovery CDs? any of you have them and could, please, send them to me (via ordinary mail, megaupload or something?

Thanks

Hi kyomu,

welcome to Club vaio..

Have you deleted the recovery partition, you can check by going to Start > Control panel > Performance and Maintenance > Administrative Tools > Computer Management..

A new window should open click on Disk Management and maximise the window .

You should see Recovery Partition, C and D partitions.

If the recovery partition is still present normally pressing F10 repeatedly when starting you vaio would start the recovery process..

If the recovery partition is not present you can purchase a set of recovery disc's for your FS315Z from vaio-Link ..
